TC Podcast Club

Discussions are a great way to express our opinions, learn from one another, and connect with others!  In hopes of creating rich and insightful discussions filled with lots of fun…Teen Connection is creating a monthly podcast club.

Our goal is to choose a podcast each month that centers around empowerment, leadership, wellness, inclusiveness, ect. The podcast will spark important conversations and bring together teens with similar values and interests.

The first podcast we will discuss is “Teenager Therapy: Overcoming Mental Illness”.  Ok, ok…we get that the word, mental illness, can be scary. It shouldn’t be. We know it’s a word associated with stigma. It shouldn’t be. It is through discussions like this that we begin to break down these stigmas and remove the negative connotation.

We encourage you to check it out. It’s a great podcast  listen of 5 teens discussing their struggles and vulnerabilities. They demonstrate what it is like to support one another, and help us see that there is always hope, even in the darkest of times.
