Monthly support group through NAMI Franklin County providing support for caregivers and family members caring for loved ones with mental illness.
Due to COVID-19 and Governor DeWine’s mandate, meeting will be held virtually on ZOOM.

Some important concepts you’ll learn:
-See the individual first, not the illness.
-Recognize that mental illnesses are brain disorders that may have environmental triggers.
-Gain insight and empathy from the challenges and successes of others facing similar circumstances.
-Reject stigma and not tolerate discrimination.
-Forgive yourself and reject guilt.
-Embrace humor as healthy.
-Accept that we cannot solve every problem.
-Aim for better coping skills and work for a better future in a realistic way.
