Monthly Meditation : Cultivating Calm
Focus: Healing Imagery with Spiritual Guides
Time & Location
Nov 06, 2022, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
About the Event
Deepok Chopra’s visit to New Albany in October as part of the NACF Lecture Series will bring local attention to the practice of meditation. Dr. Chopra’s appearance is made possible by a grant to The New Albany Community Foundation from The Mershad Family Foundation.
We thought this would be a great time to introduce our community to meditation with some free/donation based programming.
Monthly Meditation : Cultivating Calm with Michelle
This is your chance to start on a transformative journey; one that will bring more clarity, ease and wellbeing into your life. Join us for this monthly meditation series to explore mindfulness in a laid back, welcoming environment where curiosity & kindness reign supreme.
There is no one-size-fits-all meditation practice. As such, it is often beneficial to explore a few styles to find the one that feels best to you. We’ve got you covered!
Each monthly In-Person Yoga Nidra session will have a different focus:
09/25 Body Sensations
10/16 Exploring Emotions
11/06 Healing Imagery with Spirit Guides
When you sign up for one of the sessions, you will get an audio recording of the class. Additionally, to support you in establishing at-home ease, you will also receive 3 short, pre-recorded “portable” practices.
- Letting Go
- Ground & Center
- Metta (loving kindness)
